About this Workshop

Quantum information science (QIS) extends classical information science to regimes where quantum effects such as superposition and entanglement are important. QIS has been one of the most intellectually exciting areas for several decades and still displays enormous potential for growth. This workshop will concentrate on quantum information science, the foundations of quantum mechanics, as well as quantum causal networks, intending to promote cross-disciplinary interactions.

The workshop covers the following topics:
  • Quantum Information
  • Quantum Computation
  • Quantum Statistics
  • Quantum Networks
  • Quantum Foundations

Program Committee

  • Giulio Chiribella (The University of Hong Kong, University of Oxford, and HKU Shenzhen Institute for Research and Innovation) (co-chair)
  • Oscar Dahlsten (Southern University of Science and Technology) (co-chair)
  • Man-Hong Yung (Southern University of Science and Technology, Huawei) (co-chair)
  • Hoi-Fung Chau (The University of Hong Kong)
  • Daniel Ebler (Southern University of Science and Technology)
  • Fei Meng (The University of Hong Kong, Southern University of Science and Technology)
